1. Open iTunes from your desktop.
Note: If you do not have iTunes on your desktop, it can be downloaded from the internet.
2. From the menu on the left of the iTunes window, select iTunes Store.
3. Sign into iTunes
Note: If you are signed in, your email address will display in the top right of the iTunes window. If you are not signed in, click Sign In. If you do not have an account, click Create New Account on the Sign In window.
4. Under the Quick Links selection list on the right of the screen, click Redeem.
5. Enter your promo code for HEAT and click Redeem.
6. Connect the iPad, iPhone or iTouch to your computer. On the left menu of iTunes, select the device's name:
7. In the iTunes window, make sure "Apps" is selected on the title bar. Make sure the "sync apps" check box is selected and the app "HEAT Professional Home Energy Audit" is checked:
8. Click the "Apply" button in the lower right section of the iTunes window to sync the apps with your device.
9. Once the sync is complete, disconnect the device from your computer. On the device you should now see the "HEAT" app. Open it, select download, enter the url, user name and password. You are ready to use HEAT!
